The Gus Galasso Academic Support Center was dedicated on August 30, 1996. Located in the lower level of the Reilly Center, it houses a study center as well as a computer center. The study area is furnished with group meeting tables and chairs to accommodate study sessions as well as individual studying.

The Student-Athlete Support staff is responsible for addressing the specialized needs for St. Bonaventure's student-athletes. They provide fundamental information on academic skills and campus life. They are also available for individual meetings with student-athletes and maintain a high-degree of personal contact with coaches, faculty and the academic community.

In addition to monitoring the study center, the Student-Athlete Support staff provides assistance with study skills, time management, choosing a major, course selection advising and resume writing among other services.
