Junior Samuel Maheu is the Community Bank/ GoBonnies.com player of the week after helping the team to its first conference win of the season.

Maheu received a pass from sophomore Brett Allen and dribbled to the center before rocketing a shot from the top of the box over Rhode Island goalkeeper Chris Pennock in the 57th minute to give the team its first lead in three games. The goal was the third of the season for the Ottawa, Ontario native, and he also tallied an assist in the first game of the weekend, a 4-1 loss to UMass.

The team will play its final home game of the season October 25 as it welcomes Atlantic 10 rival Duquesne to McGraw-Jennings Field for a 2:00 kickoff.
