Kevin Blasczienski is in his third year as Assistant Athletic Trainer at St. Bonaventure. He has worked with baseball in all three years on staff and is responsible for Men's Soccer and Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams.
Blasczienski is also the host athletic trainer for the Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championships hosted annually by St. Bonaventure at the Burt Flickinger Aquatics Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
Prior to his arrival at St. Bonaventure, Blasczienski spent one year working as an ATC in the office of Dr. Frank J. Schlehr M.D. While at the office, he was responsible for patient care and aiding Dr. Schlehr with evaluation and treatment of orthopedic injuries. In his time there, he was also the Head Athletic Trainer for Tonawanda, Medina, and Roy-Hart High Schools.
In May of 2004, Blasczienski received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the CAAHEP accredited program at the State University of New York at Buffalo. His primary sports covered while at UB were Football, Track & Field, Women's Basketball, and Men's Soccer. Blasczienski also completed an internship with Niagara University where he assisted in coverage of the 2004 CHA Champion Purple Eagle Men's Hockey team and was the primary athletic trainer for the Women's Lacrosse Team.
Blasczienski is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association, the New York Athletic Trainer's Society, and the Collegiate Athletic Trainer's Society.
Blasczienski is a native of Fulton, N.Y. and resides with his wife, Natalie, in Little Valley, N.Y.
