Barbara Questa has been a member of the athletics administration team at St. Bonaventure since 1992.

In her role as Senior Associate Director of Athletics, Questa helps oversee the entire intercollegiate athletics program including the direct supervision of seven intercollegiate programs. She is the departmental liaison to a variety of university offices as well as overseeing all aspects of NCAA compliance and eligibility. Questa also serves on various university committees including the University's Board of Trustees' Committee on Athletics.

She has served as Interim Director of Athletics three times, most recently in 2003.

Questa has served on numerous Atlantic 10 committees, highlighted by the search committee for the commissioner. Questa also serves on the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Committee and also serves on the Television Committee. Her past commitments include stints as chair of the A-10 Women's Lacrosse and the Women's Basketball Committee. Questa is the Meet Coordinator for the A-10 Swimming & Diving Championships, which will be hosted by St. Bonaventure for the 14th consecutive year in Buffalo in February 2009. She is currently serving a four-year term as a member of the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Rules Committee and has served as Chair of the NCAA Memorial Resolutions Committee as well as working as an on-sight supervisor for the NCAA Women's Basketball Committee.

Prior to joining St. Bonaventure, Questa worked at the East Coast Conference as Assistant Commissioner for Championships and Compliance and also at Syracuse University.

Questa received her bachelor's degree in physical education from Temple University in 1988. In 1992, she earned her master's degree from Temple in physical education with a concentration in sports administration.

A standout student-athlete at Temple, she was an All-America defender on the 1988 NCAA Championship women's lacrosse team as well as a four-year member of the field hockey team. Questa also was a member of the U.S. Women's Lacrosse National Team.

A native of Philadelphia, Questa resides in Allegany, N.Y., with her husband, Joe, and new-born son, Michael. Her step-daughter Santana is currently a freshman at St. Bonaventure.
