2007-08 BAF Donor Listing

The St. Bonaventure Athletic Fund (BAF) is the fund-raising organization for the Department of Athletics. It is the mission and purpose of the BAF to generate support for St. Bonaventure's 14 intercollegiate sports programs, while providing our student-athletes the opportunity to develop academically and athletically.

As a member of the nationally-recognized Atlantic 10 Conference, St. Bonaventure coaches and student-athletes strive each day to achieve greatness. This cannot be possible without YOU! You can be an integral part of building futures for promising student-athletes at St. Bonaventure. Your support will enable us to improve facilities, provide first-class academic resources and breed athletic success, while attracting the best student-athletes to Bona's.

Each year alumni and friends of St. Bonaventure make a variety of gifts in support of Bonnies Athletics. Various contribution options exist. A donor to the BAF can make the gift that best suits his or her personal preference. Gifts given as "unrestricted" allow the Athletic Department administration the flexibility to allocate funds to the area of highest need. Or, donors may specify the sport or sports they wish their gift to benefit. Payment Options

Donors may pay using their Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. This option enables the donor to make a pledge and fulfill the gift on a monthly or quarterly basis throughout the year. When choosing this option, please remember to include account number, expiration date and donor signature.

The Bona-Matic Bank Draft option is a debit system which spreads your gift over a time period by arranging for an automatic withdrawal from your checking account each month. After the initiation of your gift, you will receive confirmation of the monthly withdrawals on your bank statements.

Matching Gifts
Matching gifts from your employer/business accompany your cash gift. If your company participates in a matching gift program, you can receive credit in the BAF for the total contribution. This method will increase your gift impact and increase your membership level and benefits. For more information, contact your company's personnel office or call St. Bona Athletics.

In-Kind Gifts
Donations of goods or services are also valuable means of support. These types of donations typically consist of items that would normally be purchased through the annual athletic budget. Credit toward membership is based on the fair market value of the trade-out.

Additional Donation Options

Tax Information
A portion of your gift is tax deducible. Additional information will appear on your gift receipt from the university. Please consult your tax advisor for further information.

NOTE: On June 18, 2007, the Board of Trustees authorized the creation of a 5% gift administration assessment on all gifts other than unrestricted Bonaventure fund contributions and ineligible grants. This does not change the amount of your charitable contribution for tax purposes. The total amount of your gift is tax deductible.
