Jarrod Bell was named an assistant baseball coach at St. Bonaventure in the summer of 2005. A native of nearby Portville, N.Y., and a 2003 graduate of Brockport State, Bell will work with the Bonnies' hitters and also help set defensive strategies and fundamentals. In 2004, Bell was an assistant baseball coach at Portville High School. During his high school career, Bell was an Expressway Conference all-star in both baseball and football. Bell will pursue a master's degree in education at St. Bonaventure in addition to his coaching responsibilities.
