As A Junior (2009)
Produced career bests in nearly every statistical category,
starting 36 games in the outfield … hit .230 for the second
straight year … had three doubles and two home runs amongst
his 31 hits … his second home run was an inside the park
grand slam against Richmond (Apr. 25) … drove in 20 runs
(RBI) and scored 22 more … had eight multi-hit games and
four games with at least two RBI … hit .359 (14-39) with
runners in scoring position and had eight two-out RBI … a
sure-handed outfielder, he recorded 63 putouts without an error
… finished with 17 hits over 14 games in March, ending the
month with a .288 batting average … reached base three
times, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and first career double against
Mount St. Mary’s (Mar. 1) … produced second multi-hit
game of the season against Lehigh (Mar. 5), reaching base four
times and scoring a career-high three runs … went 2-for-5
with an RBI against BIG EAST foe Pittsburgh (Mar. 7) …

Became a consistent starter over the final month and a half of the
season … finished with a .230 batting average, but ranked
second on the team with a .442 on-base percentage … had 17
hits and seven RBI while scoring 12 runs … earned 29 walks
in just over 100 plate appearances … reached base in 26 of
28 games … had a five multi-hit games and a single in 12 of
28 games played … was walked two or more times in a game on
six occasions … hit .524 (11-21) when leading off an inning
… recorded a hit in all three games of Dayton series (Apr.
5-6) … had four multi-hit games over a five-game span in
late April … went 4-for-7 with three runs scored and an RBI
in doubleheader split at Buffalo (Apr. 22) … had two hits in
each of the first two games against Xavier (Apr. 25-26) …
walked a career-high four times in a win over Buffalo (Apr. 29) in

As a junior, hit .500 with 32 runs, 13 stolen bases and nine
doubles ... made the All-State fourth team in 2005 ... hit .449 his
