ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure junior outfielder Joe Rizzo has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the period ending March 12.

Over seven games last week in Florida, Rizzo batted .424 (14-33) with 13 RBI, two home runs and five runs scored. The Bonnies went 4-3 over those seven games.

The Player of the Week award is the first of Rizzo's career.

St. Bonaventure, which is 4-4, will return to action with a two-game series at West Virginia March 21-22.
