J.R. Bremer ended his career in 2002 as one of the top guards ever to wear the Brown & White.

2001-2002 Highlights:

• Finished fourth in the nation and led the Atlantic 10 in scoring at 24.6 points per game.

• Was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team, the Atlantic 10's Most Improved Player and to the National Association of Basketball Coaches/Pontiac All-District 1 first team.

• Scored 20 points or more in 24 games and had seven games of 30-plus points.

• Ended his career with a streak of 45 consecutive games with 12 points or more.

• Stands 7th in school history in scoring with 1,732 points. He is the top scoring guard on the St. Bonaventure career points list.

• Became the fourth player in school history to score 700 points in a season.

• His 188 free throws set a school single season record.

• On Jan. 23 at Fordham, broke the school record for career three-point field goals and finished with 223 for his career.

• Was named national Player of the Week by both Sports Illustrated and ESPN.com after he scored a career-high 33 points in win at UConn on Dec. 28.

• Was honored as the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week three times.
