At A Glance
Fresh off a season-opening win over Robert Morris, St. Bonaventure will endure its first road test as it travels across New York State to take on Marist. The game is part of the Garden State Challenge, which will conclude next weekend on the campus of Rutgers University. The Bonnies will be looking to start the season 2-0 for the first time since 2003, while Marist will look to rebound from a heartbreaking two-point loss at Rutgers. St. Bonaventure will also look to win its first road game of the season for the first time in six years.

Series History
Marist has claimed both games in the all-time series with both wins coming in back-to-back years (2004 & 05). The last game of the series came in 2005 at the McCann Center. Led by future NBA draft pick Jared Jordan, Marist defeated the Bonnies 69-51.

This Day In Bona Basketball
St. Bonaventure is 2-0 all-time when playing on November 17, dating back to the 1975-76 season in the Bona record books - the final season that has actual dates recorded. The Brown and White's last game on this date came during the 2000-01 season when they defeated New Mexico State, 68-53, in the opening round of the Hispanic College Fund Classic in Fresno, Calif. The Bonnies went on to win the tournament crown by defeating host Fresno State. Senior Kevin Houston earned tournament MVP honors, while Peter Van Paassen and Marques Green joined him on the All-Tournament team.
