Junior Ryan Swanson is the GoBonnies.com/Community Bank Athlete of the Week for the period ending Oct. 15. The junior from Sherman, N.Y., led the Bonnies golf team to a pair of tournament titles last week - the Robert Morris Crowne Plaza Classic Oct. 8-9 and the Binghamton NBT Bank Classic Oct. 14-15.

Swanson won the first medalist honors of his career at Binghamton, where he was the only player to break par in both rounds over the tricky, wind-blown Links at Hiawatha Landing. He shot 69 and 68 for a three-under par total of 137 to win by three shots, helping the Bonnies overcome an eight-shot deficit after the first round and top host Binghamton by four.

At Robert Morris's Mountour Heights Country Club, the Bonnies captured the team title by two shots over Loyola (Md.). Swanson tied for 11th with rounds of 75 and 75 for a total of 150 (+6).
