a physical presence that is much needed ... has a mature, confident
nature and wealth of experience and competitive desire.
As A Junior (2008)
Came on late in the year as a dependable piece of the backline ...
appeared and started in 10 games, including the last four ...
registered three shots on the season, one of which was on goal ...
was part of a stingy defense that collected five shutouts for the
season ... had one goal on the season, which made him one of eight
to register a goal ... his lone goal proved to be a game-winner
against George Washington (Nov. 9) ... deadlocked in a 1-1 tie
against the Colonials, Culo received a pass from fellow defender
Kevin Okapal and buried his shot past the G.W. goalie in the 76th
minute to give St. Bonaventure a 2-1 Atlantic 10 victory.
As A Sophomore (2007)
Matured into an anchor of the Bona central defense, while showing
a knack for making plays in front of the opposition's net ...
earned a starting nod in all 11 games in which he appeared in ...
despite playing in just 11 matches, Culo finished tied for fourth
on the club with four points thanks to his first two collegiate
goals with the Brown and White ... his pair of scores placed him in
a three-way tie for the second most on the team ... wasted little
time in making an impact upon his return to the lineup by tallying
the game-winning goal in the 103rd minute of a 2-1 double-overtime
triumph over Canisius (Sept. 23) ... made a decisive save on his
own goal line just minutes before his score clinched the win
against the Golden Griffins after the Bonnies' initial save bounced
to the foot of a Canisius attacker ... fired two of his six shots
on target at La Salle (Oct. 28) in hopes of breaking a scoreless
effort in a 1-0 defeat ... six of his eight overall shots on the
season reached the goal, while two found the back of the net for a
team-best .250 percent clip ... scored a timely goal again for the
Bonnies as his 87th minute tally earned a 1-1 draw against George
Washington (Nov. 4) ... registered a pair of shots in a scoreless
tie at Dayton (Nov. 9) ... helped launch the Brown and White
defense into one of the best units in the Atlantic 10 Conference as
they conceded the second fewest goals in the league ... assisted
the backline in posting a trio of A-10 shutouts.
As A Freshman (2006)

rookie ... registered two shots, connecting one on goal at Colgate
(Aug. 26) ... made his first career start for the Brown and White

tie vs. nationally ranked Fordham (Sept. 30).
