2008 Soccer Academy Brochure

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Head coach Mel Mahler and the St. Bonaventure men's soccer program will hold a pair of instructional academies this summer at the East View Elementary soccer fields.

There will be two sessions of camp for boys and girls in grades 1-6 from Monday, June 30-Thursday, July 3 as well as Monday, July 7-Thursday, July 10. Each camp day will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of each respective session. Discounted rates are available for past St. Bona Soccer Academy and `Little Bonas' World Cup participants.

A typical camp day will focus on the fundamental development of the campers through individual skill instruction and various match play situations. All campers will receive a free t-shirt and have the opportunity to purchase an official camp soccer ball.

Both academies will be directed by Mahler with special instruction provided for goalkeepers. This summer's soccer academies will be sponsored by the Olean Soccer Club.
