Placed in each of his three events at A-10s en route to a Bona crown ... the junior took fourth in the 100-back (52.11) ... placed fifth in the 200-back (1:53.85) ... was one of six Bona swimmers to place in the top 16 of the 200-free, Freeland touched in 13th place (1:43.58) ... earned a team-best time in the 100-back in a preliminary round of the A-10 Championships (51.98).
As a sophomore:
At A-10's, finished 9th in the 100 back (52.63) and 14th in the 200 free (1:44.49).
As a freshman:
At A-10's, placed third in the 100 back (52.37), ninth in the 200 back (1:54.69), and first as a member of the 400 medley relay (3:26.04).
High School:
Named All-American in 100 back ... placed third in the 100 back at New York State High School Championships ... finished first in the 100 back for Section V Class A ... took second on the 100 back at the 2002 Empire State Games ... two-year scholar athlete.
