Men's Tennis falls to top-seeded Charlotte in A-10 semifinals

MONROEVILLE, Pa. - The fourth-seeded St. Bonaventure men's tennis team had its championship dreams dashed on Friday afternoon as it fell to top-seeded Charlotte in the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament at the Club 4 Life.
The 49ers earned the doubles point and then finished off the match with three singles victories for the 4-0 win. Charlotte moves on to play second-seeded Xavier in Saturday's Championship match. The Bonnies will play third-seeded George Washington in the third place match.
The No. 1 doubles duo of senior Alejandro Nery and sophomore Jonathan Luce posted the lone victory of the day for the Brown and White. Nery and Luce defeated Johnson and Bernhoerster 8-6.
