Cross Country teams compete at Notre Dame

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The St. Bonaventure men's and women's cross country teams competed at the National Catholic Cross Country Invitational Friday, Sept. 16. In the men's race, Duquesne University claimed first place. Junior Andrew Shulha placed 99th out of 265 runners. He finished first for St. Bonaventure with an overall time of 27:35. Senior Brian Thierman and senior Jason Schultz finished at 27:54 and 28:49, respectively. The men placed 29th out of 33 teams. In the women's race, Notre Dame finished first overall. Junior Carrie Jackling placed first for the Bonnies with an overall time of 23:05. Junior Jesica Hendrick and junior Mary Harruff finished at 24:16 and 24:21, respectively. The women finished 35th out of 35 teams. The Bonnies will return to action on Oct. 1 for the LeMoyne Invitational.
