Cross Country competes at Stampede Invitational

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure men's cross country team placed 7th out of 10 teams on Saturday afternoon at the Stampede Cross Country Invitational. The University of Buffalo placed first in the men's race. Senior Andrew Shulha led the Bonnies for the fourth time this season as he completed the 8K race in a time of 29:18 which earned him a 34th place finish out of 83 runners. Sophomore Justin Isaman (30:37), senior Matthew Wilber (31:08), sophomore Grant Lytle (31:36) and freshman David Herlihy (31:37) rounded out the Bona top five within a single minute of each other, respectively, which earned the men's squad an average time of 30:51. The Bonnies will compete again on Saturday, Sept. 30, running on their home course at the St. Bonaventure Alumni Invitational. The men's race begins at 11 a.m.
