Bonnies compete at LeMoyne Invite

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure men's and women's cross country teams competed at the LeMoyne Invitational Saturday, Oct. 1. The women placed tenth out of ten teams and the men received an incomplete. In the women's race, Niagara claimed first place overall. Junior Carrie Jackling placed first for the Bonnies with an overall time of 24:01. Junior Jesica Hendrick and sophomore Lucy Morrisette finished at 26:13 and 26:28, respectively. In the men's race, SUNY Delhi took first place. Senior Brian Thierman placed 34th overall and finished first for St. Bonaventure with a time of 29:48. Freshman Grant Lytle and sophomore James Corke finished at 32:29 and 32:59, respectively. Only four runners crossed the finish line for the Bonnies, which resulted in an incomplete finish. The Bonnies will return to action Oct. 15 for the Little Three Championships at Niagara.
