Named to the National Basketball of Basketball Coaches (NABC) North Atlantic All-District Second Team... averaged a team-leading 16.4 points (3^rd Atlantic 10), 1.9 rebounds and a career-high 2.8 assists per game in a A-10 leading 35.6 minutes per game and 33 appearances...  shot 44.4% (200-for-453) from the field, 42.5% (94-for-221) from behind the arc (5^th  A-10) and 89.9% (62-for-69) from the free throw line (3^rd A-10)... scored double-figures in 29 games and 20-or-more points in 11 games… drained an A-10 leading 94 three-pointers.. erupted for a season-high 31 points on 8-for-11 shooting (4-for-7 3PT, 11-12 FT) in a win against Duquesne (1/28)... poured in 30 points on 11-for-22 shooting (5-for-10 3PT) against Richmond (2/21)... tallied 26 points on 7-for-17 shooting (6-for-13 3PT) in a win against Loyola (1/20)… dropped 22 points on 9-for-16 shooting (4-for-6 from 3PT) against North Carolina... put up 22 points on 9-for-16 shooting (4-for-5 3PT) and a season-high seven assists against VCU (12/31).  
 
At Gardner-Webb (2023-25) 
Selected Second Team All-Big South as a sophomore, averaging 17.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals per contest … shot 39 percent from 3-point land and poured in 22 points against Pittsburgh as well as a school-record 40 points with eight treys against Winthrop … delivered 10 games of 20-plus points during the 2024-25 season.

Rated as a two-star prospect by 247Sports.com and the nation's No. 62 point guard prospect in the Class of 2023 ... slotted as the No. 9 senior prospect in Connecticut and as one of the top-25 players in New England ... starred as the lead guard for Putnam Science Academy teams that posted a combined 77-3 record ... won a pair of national titles at Putnam ... helped lead the Mustangs to a 39-3 mark as a senior and the program's fourth national title since 2018, averaging 12.8 points, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 94.4 percent from the free throw line ... in 2022, Simmons led Coach Tom Espinosa's squad to a perfect 38-0 mark and a national title as a junior, posting 12.1 ppg to go with 4.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game against top competition ... finished his career at Putnam Science as the program's all-time leader in made threes (147) and played in 94 games – which is second in program history. Simmons also finished ranked third all-time in steals (137), fourth in assists (336) and seventh in points scored (914).
