ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Head women's basketball coach Jim Crowley and his staff will hold a pair of girls basketball camps this summer on the campus of St. Bonaventure University.

There will be a single session of individual camp for girls ages 11-18 from Thursday, July 10-Sunday, July 13. All overnight campers will be housed in the St. Bonaventure residence halls with all meals provided. A discounted package for day campers is also available.

Following July's individual session, Crowley will also hold a weekend of team camp on Friday, August 1-Sunday, August 3. The tournament-style format will feature select competition from throughout Western New York with JV, Varsity and AAU teams welcome to attend. Four teams from the 2006 edition advanced to the New York State Final Four, while one 2007 participant accomplished the same feat last season.

All camps will be directed and planned by Crowley and his Bonnie assistants, while current Bona players will serve as camp counselors during both sessions. Competition will take place on the brand-new Bob Lanier Court in the historic Reilly Center as well as in the state-of-the-art Richter Center.

The Bonnies are in the midst of back-to-back winning seasons for just the second time in program history at the Division I level with 34 combined wins over the last two years. Crowley guided his club to their highest finish in the Atlantic 10 (7th) since 1996-97 and the program's second ever victory over a nationally ranked opponent with a 63-60 triumph over 2008 NCAA Sweet 16 finalist and #14/13 George Washington.
