Jaime Snyder

Position:
Assistant Coach

Jaime Synder is in her third season as an assistant women's soccer coach at St. Bonaventure. Snyder took over as interim head coach in December 2005 before returning to an assistant under head coach Manoj Khettry.

During her time as interim head coach, Snyder was able to put together a solid recruiting class in a short period of time to help with the transition to a new coach. Snyder's 2007 class was highlighted by full-time defensive starters Katelyn Shelofsky and Sarah Walcott, both of whom started at least 16 games. Snyder has been vital in program's recent recruiting upswing under Khettry that saw the Bonnies land the 14th ranked class in the Northeast Region. In season, she works directly with the forwards and assists athletic trainer Erin Finnegan with nutrition. A 2003 graduate of Nazareth College, Snyder is the third-leading scorer in Nazareth history with career totals of 37 goals and a school record 46 assists for 120 points. As a junior in 2001, she was named an All-American and was also the Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year. In 2000, Snyder dished out a Nazareth single-season record 15 assists en route to a career-high 35 points. She helped the Golden Flyers reach the NCAA Division III Tournament each of her four seasons there. Snyder earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Nazareth. There, she also was a member of the Student-Athlete Mentors and the University Ministry Council and worked for the College Arts Center. Snyder hails from nearby Allegany, N.Y., and graduated from Allegany-Limestone High School in 1999. Under head coach Dale MacArhur, she led the Gators to the state playoffs in both 1997 and 1998, including an appearance in the finals as a senior. Synder is the school's all-time leading scorer and returned as an assistant at her Alma Mater in 2003.
