MacDougall, O'Malley earn All-Conference honors
Nov. 2, 2005 ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure senior forward Heather MacDougall and junior forward Kerry O'Malley have both earned postseason honors from the Atlantic 10 Conference. In voting of the conference head coaches, MacDougall was selected to the All-Conference first team, while O'Malley was named to the second team. One of the most dangerous combinations in the Atlantic 10, collectively they scored 16 of St. Bonaventure's 20 goals this season. The duo has combined for 92 points on 40 goals and 12 assists over the past two seasons. MacDougall earns her second consecutive All-Atlantic 10 selection after tallying a team-high 24 points on 11 goals and two assists this season. One of the most prolific scorers in school history, MacDougall's 36 career goals and 83 points rank third and fourth respectively, all-time in the Bona record books. O'Malley returned this season after missing the second half of her sophomore campaign with a knee injury. She finished second on the team in scoring with 10 points on five goals. All of her goals came in conference action. O'Malley turned in a pair of two-goal performances against Fordham and Xavier. The Bonnies completed the 2005 season with a record of 2-15 overall and 1-8 in the Atlantic 10.
