St. Bonaventure hosts Winter Hitting College
ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure softball head coach Mike Threehouse announced his 2009-10 St. Bona Softball Hitting College will be back in action this winter. Sessions start on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 6:00 p.m. in Butler Gym on St. Bonaventure’s campus.
“We have started the Hitting College for those athletes
who know that softball is not just a spring sport. Fast pitch
softball is a demanding sport and a player must dedicate herself to
the year around pursuit of excellence,” said Threehouse.
“We are really looking forward to getting the classes
started.”
The college hosts 13 different session from November through
February working with the SBU coaching staff and players. Attendees
have the opportunity to learn a proper swing, slapping and bunting
techniques as well as use video evaluations for an analysis of the
swing.
