Dave Matz
	Years at St. Bonaventure: Eighth season Position: Assistant Coach

Dave Matz returns for his eighth season on the Bonnies bench. However, Matz is no stranger to the program as he was the school's first softball head coach from 1982-85. During his tenure as the skipper, he guided the Brown and White to a 26-37 record. Matz has been a professor at St. Bonaventure for 24 years and currently teaches in the Classical Languages department. He received his undergraduate degree from Lawrence University in 1969 as well as a Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. Matz resides in Olean with his wife, Lauren.
