Women's Tennis drops two weekend matches

St. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - The St. Bonaventure women's tennis team dropped two matches this weekend. The Bonnies lost 6-1 to Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne on Friday and lost to Dayton University with the same score on Saturday. On Friday, Stephanie Fosnight recorded the only point in singles play. Fosnight defeated Stacy Lish 6-1. 1-6, 10-6 at No. 3 singles. Fosnight and Anna Martorell recorded the only doubles win defeating Lisa Bertelheim and Hanna Hager 8-7 at No. 2 doubles. On Saturday, Anna Perevenzetseva defeated Allysa Detroy 6-2, 6-1 in No. 2 singles, recording the Bonnies lone point. Fosnight and Martorell defeated Mackenzie Hoops and Nikki Dzubay in No. 2 doubles. St. Bonaventure earned the No. 12 seed and will take on fifth-seeded Xavier in the first round of Atlantic 10 Tournament this weekend.
