ECIC First Team All-Star all three years that she ran ...  also picked up All-NYS Second Team honors her senior year ... chose Bonaventure because of the academic opportunities that it offered; she also enjoyed the campus and felt very comfortable with the team and coach Macfarlane ... earned merit and honor roll distinction in high school ... volunteered at a maternity animal shelter and a track & field summer camp ... active in school and church clubs ... daughter of Maggie and Glenn Mars ... has two sisters, Elisabeth and Molly, and a brother, Luke.
