ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Women's cross country placed 3rd at the Little Three Championships on Saturday, October 14, 2006.

Niagara took first place in the women's Division 1 race.

Freshman Sarah Popovics led the Bona women with a time of 21:07 good for a 7th place finish. Freshman Michelle Damcott finished 2nd for the Bonnies with a time of 22:19 turning in a 12th place finish. Senior Carrie Jackling (22:59) finished with her best time of the season good for a 16th place finish. Seniors Mary Haruff (24:46) and Jesica Hendrick (24:51) completed the Bona top five.

The Bona women compete again on October 28, 2006 in Pittsburgh, P.A at the Atlantic 10 Championships. The women's race begins at 10 a.m.
