This weekend's series will feature a doubleheader Friday beginning at 11 a.m. with the series finale set for Saturday at 2 p.m. due to inclement weather in the forecast this weekend. Friday's Game 1 will have a video broadcast free through Bonnies Online Network + available on GoBonnies.com with Game 2 on ESPN+ at 2:30 p.m. Saturday's finale will have an audio only broadcast on Bonnies Online Network. FIRST PITCH
The Bonnies head into this weekend with momentum after a midweek win at home against Binghamton. The Hawks are coming off a home loss to Delaware in the Liberty Bell Classic.Â
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies handled business on Tuesday afternoon, evening their season series against Binghamton with a 8-7 win. Jaxson Ross got his first win on the mound, pitching four innings while allowing just one earned run on three hits. Tom Wilkie, Conor Wolf, and Ethan Catney-Forbes all had solid outings in relief, and Gilbert Saunders III closed out the game for his first save as a Bonnie. At the plate, Jayce Tharnish had a four-hit day with an RBI. Alex Hebenstreit added to the Bonaventure offense with a two-run home run as part of a multi-hit day.
FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING
Jayce Tharnish was caught stealing for the first time this season on Tuesday afternoon. After starting the season 20-for-20 on the basepaths, Tharnish went 1-for-2 in stolen base attempts during the Binghamton win.
BOUNCE BACK PERFORMANCE
Sophomore right-hander James Capellupo had a strong outing coming out of the bullpen last Friday at Saint Louis. Capellupo threw 6.2 shutout innings, allowing only four hits and racking up eight strikeouts to lock down an Atlantic 10 win.
HOMETOWN HERO
Hailing from just down the road, Salamanca native Jaxson Ross got his first career win as a Bonnie on home turf. In Tuesday's game against Binghamton, Ross threw four strong innings while allowing just one earned run.
BY THE NUMBERS
1.7 – Jayce Tharnish has averaged 1.7 hits per game this season, putting him at 27th in the nation among qualified batters.
7 – Tharnish extended his hit streak to seven games on Tuesday with an impressive 4-for-5 day.
61 – The Bonnies have stolen 61 bases as a team this season, ranking at 30th among Division I teams this season and fifth in the Atlantic 10.

- The Hawks are 10-17 on the season with a 4-5 record in A-10 play. Saint Joseph's has a .253 team batting average and a 6.31 team ERA.
- Last year, Saint Joseph's went 29-26 on the season with a 13-11 conference record. In the Atlantic 10 conference tournament, the seven seed Hawks made a run all the way to the semi-finals before losing to Richmond.
